Me vs. Macross 7: Round 44
Finally, I’ve made it past that horrible but arbitrary episode-41 mark that for some reason was a really difficult hump for me. We’re through the recycled footage and endless plot non-development, and it’s time for the final arc. I hope it’ll be Fire-Bomber-riffic.
All in all, Macross 7 continues to be the most intelligent installment of the franchise:

I’ll finish this too, sooner than later now that waifu is supportive and watching with me. We must’ve watched 5 eps straight last night. I was inspecting stupidity, but Basara still managed to surprise me. My forehead was so sore from all the violent facepalming I had to do.
In any case, this installment of the franchise is so easy to love. It’s a shame I waited this long to take it on.
