Encyclopedia Brown books actually are still being put out to this day. I don’t know which ones you were buying new (they started in ’63), so I can’t say for sure if you’re older, but I’m not that old. Not that there’s anything wrong with that if you are… OK I’ll shut up now.

@Korasoff In your hypothetical pitch meeting, I’m pretty sure the main writer is actually the dumber one for thinking this could be a serious show. And you’re right, apparently they still think the thing should be played straight. So I just can’t take it.

@steelbound I can see how you’d think that’d be ok. “Oh, it’s only a buck, how bad could it be?” But at least it wasn’t full price to see Blair Witch.

@Riex I’m definitely curiously awaiting that post now.
