Hard Chase
I don’t know why this episode title sounds dirty to me. Must be all the Kanokon I’ve been watching. But when a new Macross comes out, I’m reminded why the hell I’m watching a bunch of cartoons from a country I’ve never been to in the first place.
But, like Geass, I find that simply puking out a summary of an episode that largely consists of a mech battle is not my cup of tea. So I present to you the Corporate Douchebag Version, aka a PowerPoint deck (Flash/not visible in RSS).

I don’t recall ever being ejumacated in PowerPoint, that’s an out-of-the-box theme my friend!
Have you done that before here? That’s a unique summary format, and an awesome one at that. I do wish that Altoh could tell SMS what happened to Gilliam.
Thanks BigN, never did it but it was some nice silly fun. As for Altoh, the part that bothers me the most is that it seems unrealistic for SMS to not want to hire him, even though he’s obviously got talent and all his friends work for them. It seems very transparently all in the name of ratcheting tension between him and Ozma, which will be necessary when Ranka tries to get together with her pretty princess.
It’s not the same without someone reading the slides word for word in monotone.
Actually I also liked the slide format. Plus it didn’t take up too much room on my screen to page through, and the bullets were excellent. A+
Ozma doesn’t want to replace Gilliam, and also he secretly knows that Alto has been groping his sister. These two points make for an instant pilot disqualification.
